We have been learning more about the characters Lina and Doon and their adventure in our class read aloud, The People of Sparks. Think about connections you can make to the plot and characters in this book. Does Doon or Lina's characters remind you of anyone you know? How are they the same? How are they different? Be prepared to share in class tomorrow.

Parent-Teacher Conferences:
Parent-Teacher Conferences with Student Led Conferences are being held on Thursday March 20 and Friday March 21. A notice on how to book a conference is being sent home with the oldest student today. City of Calgary Study

The City of Calgary is having a study regarding the 16 ave and 19st intersection! The information session is taking place on Thursday March 13, 2014 from 5-8pm.

Scholastic Book Fair March 18^th - 21^st

The Learning Commons will be transformed into a book store for 4 days.

It will be open every morning from 9:30 am -12:00 pm, and on Thursday, March 21^st during conferences from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
