Welcome back LOL's after the Family Day weekend! We have a busy week ahead of us. We will be creating research plans for our Wellness Inquiry Projects. We will researching our topics at Healthy Living School next week, which will include interviewing experts.

We are very close to finishing our read aloud of The City of Ember. Share with a family member your thoughts around this story and why you think we selected this book.

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to join us for a day or two at Cardel Place.  We really appreciate your participation in this amazing learning experience. You will receive a confirmation of your day, either by email or by a phone call. Please remember to bring your lunch and wear comfortable clothing and shoes. The bus leaves at 8:50 and returns at 3:00.

Homework:
-Grade 5 Math: we will have a quiz Friday on fractions and decimals! Please see Ms. Makowski if you are interested in taking a textbook home to help you study.
-Grade 6 Math: Quiz Friday on reading, writing and expanding decimals less than thousandths. Please see Mrs. Calvert if would like to have some extra practice questions
